When allocating an exclusive instance to a zone, must the NIC you're allocating be GLDv3? I've got a 280R with a pair of e1000g's in it as well as eri0. For performance reasons, the eri interface isn't being used. When I tried to allocate it to a non-global zone, I get the following:
# zoneadm -z bert boot zoneadm: zone 'bert': WARNING: unable to hold network interface 'eri0'.: Invalid argument And looking at the svc log file for network/physical, It seems that I cannot plumb eri0 in the non-global zone.
