I have a quick question for everybody, I have a server with only one
network interface which has a deprecated interface:
~ > ifconfig -a

There is one Service IP that moves between this server and another one.
The problem is that the current server doesn't have any dns resolution:
~ > getent hosts backupsrv1
~ > nslookup backupsrv1
Server: 10.252.0.228
Address: 10.252.0.228#53
Name: backupsrv1.equities.net.intra
Address: 10.252.30.50
Is that normal that the getent hosts doesn't work? Of course, I have the
/etc/nsswitch.conf set to: "hosts files dns"
Anyone?
