I just recently installed (not upgraded) the latest version of Solaris 10 (08/07) on our Sunfire X2100 server and noticed that the network interface that used to reach up to 1.0+ mb/sec transfer rates on SFTP/FTP slowed down to 100kb/sec or less after the installation. I've already confirmed that there is no problem with the cables or switch and I am unable to revert back to the previous version of Solaris because it was pre-installed with the server.
I was advised to check the /var/adm/messages file and confirmed that the network interface is running at full speed: [ID 223987 kern.info] NOTICE: nge0: link up 100Mbps Full-Duplex (initialised) But the sftp/ftp transfer rates are still topping off at a tenth of what they used to before. Any thoughts will be highly appreciated. This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ networking-discuss mailing list [email protected]
