That could be an explanation. -- or would it be fixed/hidden after a while by retransmissions if the peers were out of window-size sync? Might it be a timing/race-condition somewhere? I.e. interactive sessions transmit less packets/data initially than pipes/tunnel-negotiation? > Do you log all packets that are block'd by ipfilter? Mostly; this should be logged but wasn't, which make me think the packet was more likely lost than blocked.
