Folks,

A while back I had asked the community for feedback on list of networking related tools/libs/utilities and other opensource technologies that we need to implement/port to Solaris to help the Solaris developer community expand. See thread:

http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?messageID=159408&#159408

I got several responses, and now have a list of packages. I now need your feedback on setting the priority of the items in the list. Please see the attached file and provide input on the follwoing:

1.The top 10 list ( on priority, level of committment and
  where the package belongs)

2. Same input on the next set of 18 packages that are listed
on the attached file(so we can get to them once the first set
   of 10 has been addressed)

3. Is it worth putting these on the list (and if so at what priority?) :

  net-snmp http://www.net-snmp.org/
  smokeping http://oss.oetiker.ch/smokeping/
  mrtg: traffic garpher http://oss.oetiker.ch/mrtg/
  nagios (Net Mgmt) http://www.nagios.org/
  mtr (ping/traceroute) http://www.bitwizard.nl/mtr
  pathchar http://www.kitchenlab.org/www/bmah/Software/pchar/
  honeyd (honeypot) http://www.honeyd.org/
  Packet Fence http://www.packetfence.org/overview.html

Thanks
Sangeeta

PS. Wireshark, nmap, and netcat port and support are already in the works and are thus not listed here.
