How's that?

DHCP in Solaris doesn't have anything to do with encryption.  If you
need that package in order to make the driver work for DHCP, then
you're also going to need it to make it work for static IP, or even if
you don't run IP at all and you choose to run some other networking
protocol.

The drivers neither know nor care whether DHCP is in use.
