Most drivers are Nemo-ified.  The *bargain basement* option are the 
Linksys LNE 100TX cards, which are 100Mbps driven by my own afe driver, 
which is integrated into Nevada and which support Nemo.  However, these 
boards are probably far from the most performant option. 

Cards based on the RealTek 8169 are also fairly cheap, and support 
gigabit speeds.

Performance wise, bge may be difficult to beat.  e1000g has gotten a lot 
better though.
