Hi , I am new to Solaris. I want to configure DNS. But,the problem is that I am not able to understand what values should I provide while configuring DNS.
I have some questions regarding it.Can anybody help me? My Questions are I am directly connecting to internet via DHCP. while configuring DNS what should be the domain name?Is it anything or my ISP's name or any name derived from it? What is server address?Is it my own PC's IP or ISP's IP or some other? What is DNS search list?How to decide what should be there? Thanking You. Prashant Poman.
