Hello. 1. Quantity of plumbed IPoIB interfaces and quantity of IPoIB interfaces configured for uDAPL with datadm don't matter. Initially I plumbed two IPoIB interfaces ibd0 & ibd1 and configured it for uDAPL with datadm. "datadm -v" show 2 records - for ibd0 & ibd1. Next I unplumbed ibd1 and unconfigured uDAPL on it with 'datadm -u' - uDAPL didn't work again. uDAPL (ClusterTools & dapltest) didn't work even when I unconfigured IPoIB instance of ibd1 with 'cfgadm' Only when I disabled second port on switch or disconnected it - uDAPL (both dapltest & clustertools) was started.
Finally I plumbed & configured for DAT two IPoIB interfaces again and just disconnected second port from IB fabric - uDAPL (this test was performed with dapltest only) worked well in this situation. 2. I still don't check Infiniband Update 1 on Solaris 10, but I installed patch 126648-02, that fix the same bugs as IB Update 1, but don't include 'arbel' driver. I will check Infiniband Update 1 soon. 3. Unfortunately HPC ClusterTools 8 EA1 docs not decribe how to use Infiniband multi-rail configuration, that introduced it release. I tested HPC ClusterTools 8 EA1 in the IB single-rail configuration with HPL. Performance of HPC ClusterTools 8 EA1 was significantly slower than HPC ClusterTools 7.1 on the same hardware (about two times slower) ;) 4. I used 'dapltest' from dapl_gamma 3.03 distribution from sourceforge.
