Hi,

I have a laptop that I want to try installing OpenSolaris on it. Running the
Hardware Detection Tool shows neither my WiFi nor my ethernet is supported. I
installed OpenSolaris as dual boot and confirmed they are not working. However,
I find that there is a network driver available for my ethernet. My problem is:
in order to download the network driver, I need a network connection which is
not available in Solaris. I can boot to Vista and download the driver first and
then mount the NTFS. However, as I understand, in order to mount an NTFS, I
need to *download* a util (http://mount-ntfs.sourceforge.net/).

Does this mean I'm out of luck besides buying a network hardware that supports?
Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

My network devices:
Ethernet: Boardcom BCM4401-B0 100Base-TX
WiFi: Boardcom BCM94311MCG wlan mini-PCI

Thanks,
RY
