That doc is ancient, written during the SunOS4 -> SunOS5 switch. Since then, DLPI has changed in a number of important ways (e.g., notifications) and libdlpi has been introduced. libdlpi is far simpler and less error-prone, and there's really no reason to hand-craft DLPI messages anymore, thus sidestepping most of the pain mentioned in Neal's document. -- meem _______________________________________________ networking-discuss mailing list [email protected]
