Most of the opinion and discussion are probably now useless -- quite a bit of this wasn't implemented or ended up being implemented differently. No, I don't know of any follow-up cases that contain the corrections. However, see section 4.2 of the opinion for a discussion of the VLAN PPA hack, which was an intrinsic part of this case.
