Kernel stacks are separated by redzone pages.  However, it is possible 
to "skip" the redzone page
and corrupt some other thread's stack (but I think unlikely in this 
case).  You might want to take
a look at ::threadlist -v output for all kernel threads on the system.  
Also, sometimes ::msgbuf
will have more information.
