 From my own experience, SRSS stresses the NIC driver in some unusual 
ways.  A long (long!) time ago I had a problem with my NIC driver that 
only ever manifested after a couple hours of use as a Sun Ray 
interconnect.  Ordinary use (NFS, NIS, etc.) didn't trigger it at all.
