This might not be the best mailing list for the question ... I think the driver folks hang out on [EMAIL PROTECTED] Have you tried contacting the developers involved first to get a timeline for possible fixes? Are you sure you've applied the known work-arounds for the problems? If you have already done all that, and if the people who should be supporting this software aren't addressing newly-introduced bugs in a timely way, and if there are no decent work-arounds, then I think the right answer may be to ask the gatekeepers to back the offending changes out.
