Hello, I am having some trouble with the e1000g-driver on my Lenovo T61. If I try to set the MTU larger than 1500 if refuses:
# ifconfig e1000g0 mtu 8000 ifconfig: setifmtu: SIOCLSIFMTU: e1000g0: Invalid argument # dladm set-linkprop -p mtu=8000 e100g0 dladm: warning: cannot set link property 'mtu' on 'e1000g0': invalid argument The same works fine for anything less than 1500. I have configured /kernel/drv/e1000g.conf for large frames, and it works fine on another host with a e1000g-NIC running snv_101. The NIC is a Intel 82566MM and this host is running OpenSolaris 2008.1 RC1B (snv_101a_rc1b). Any ideas?
