Thanks for double checking. Like I said before, we can add more core
contributors anytime (including Cathy and Eric and perhaps few others
like Sangeeta who is the lead for ilb and some in crossbow team) but
instead of doing it piece meal, I was hoping to look at the projects and
people doing them before adding more names. And I was also hoping to
finish the contributors list which would show us the working set.
If it were possible, I'd like to see us delay the nomination of any further
core contributors (at least 3) for a month or two primarily such that there
is no single date when all core contributor nominations expire. This has
both a positive and negative:
the positive - if this ever falls through the cracks, we don't lose 100% of
our core contributors (consider this the DR approach to this
problem :)
the negative - we have to deal with voting and this type of email thread
more than once every two years.
