Leaving inactive projects around strikes me as wrong as well. :-/

Before sending in a request to kill off any of them, I'll make sure
that any files associated with them are either in ARC archives or are
just transferred to the networking community. In general, I've looked
at these projects, and there really isn't much there but stale
reminders of milestones long past.

Transferring the pages themselves would mostly defeat the purpose.
These pages don't have much in the way of useful content for any
current participant (it's unhelpful to know that some obscure project
integrated 50+ builds ago), so I'd rather just see 'em die. If there
are any useful pages on the _first_ of the two lists I gave that you
think shouldn't die right now, then speak up for them.

(I won't kill the second list right now, unless I get some affirmative
votes to include them.)

For any other archeological expedition, I recommend the WayBackMachine
at www.archive.org.

We should probably have an "internal design documentation" repository,
but setting that up properly (with some structure rather than as just
a pile-o-files) is a project for another day.
