ifconfig vfe0 router
and
ifconfig vfe1 router
on the solaris system.
Another problem comes now,
i have another (third) interface gani0 on the solaris box with ipadress (static
public) 123.12.34.25 through which the system is conected to the external world
(internet).
My current requirement is to ssh or ping from any of the system from both LANs
to an external public ip or hostname.
Example: ping yahoo.com
So..Can anyone plz tell me how to achieve this task ???
I am missing the full context here, however, if the 'gani0' interface is
to have IP datagrams routed in or out, you should 'ifconfig gani0
router' as well.
You will need 'dns' on the 'hosts' line in /etc/nsswitch.conf and an
/etc/resolv.conf, if you did not set up DNS initially.
