Hi

On OpenSolaris 2009.06 with xVM Server (XEN), my Natrouter doesn't work. And i
don't know why :(

Ok on my Setup i can't brigde XEN to a Wifi card that is normal and OK.

Device ath0 (my Wifi) has the ipadress 192.168.2.104 and the router and DNS ist
192.168.2.1. Ipforward is enabeld

da...@router:~# svcs -a | grep forward
disabled 14:52:41 svc:/network/ipv6-forwarding:default
online 15:06:55 svc:/network/ipv4-forwarding:default
da...@router:~#

da...@router:~# routeadm
              Configuration Current Current
                     Option Configuration System State
---------------------------------------------------------------
               IPv4 routing enabled enabled
               IPv6 routing disabled disabled
            IPv4 forwarding enabled enabled
            IPv6 forwarding disabled disabled

           Routing services "route:default ripng:default"

Routing daemons:

                      STATE FMRI
                   disabled svc:/network/routing/legacy-routing:ipv4
                   disabled svc:/network/routing/legacy-routing:ipv6
                     online svc:/network/routing/route:default
                   disabled svc:/network/routing/rdisc:default
                   disabled svc:/network/routing/ripng:default
                     online svc:/network/routing/ndp:default1
da...@router:~#

Device nge0 has got 192.168.3.1 and is briged to XEN. From DomU's in the subnet
192.168.3.0 i can ping Dom0 192.168.3.1 and get services like SSH

IPnat is enabeled

da...@router:~# ipnat -l
List of active MAP/Redirect filters:
map ath0 192.168.3.0/32 -> 0.0.0.0/32

List of active sessions:
da...@router:~#

On Linux DomU i tryed to set the Gateway to 192.168.3.1 and i tryed to set a
route like "route add -net 192.192.168.2.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 eth0"

but from the subnet 192.168.3.0 i can't ping any address from 192.168.2.0

After two day i am totally frustrated and say everybody a big "thank you" for
help to understand why it doesn't works

kind regards Darko Hojnik
