See the dladm(1M) man page, and examine the "-P policy" argument for
create-aggr.
Linux "balance-xor" (mode=2) is roughly equivalent to:
dladm create-aggr -P L2 -L off ...
That is, it does load balancing based only on MAC addresses (that's a
fairly weak choice; L4 is better, but I don't see a Linux equivalent to
that), and disables LACP.
I don't know of anything directly equivalent to Linux "active-backup"
(mode=1), but using IPMP with a "standby" interface (see ifconfig(1M))
is fairly close.
The functionality in these two operating systems is a bit different.
Instead of trying to match up the names of operational modes, I suggest
reading through the documentation and finding the set of features that
you need.
