I have tried to reproduce your problem on my desktop, but failed. My NIC
is BCM5761 which is using dhcp, and the guest OS is ubuntu. It works
well for me.
I am using snv_125 and VirtualBox 3.0.8. Did I miss something? Which
previous version works well for you?
