Hi Pavel, You can add the following setting to the /kernel/drv/e1000g.conf file to disable the TCP segmentation offloading:
lso_enable=0,0,0,0; Regards, Ted
Hi, on a Sun Fire X4600 with nevada b124 I am observing upload stalls in any type of connection I try (http,https,scp,ftp). This manifests as immediate transfer of ~2MB of the file, after that the upload stalls and does not come to life even after several hours. Small files (tens of kB) upload just fine. Tried to search the web, but I only found similar issue mentioned in the vmware forums, although for different OS. The solution there was to disable TCP Segment OffLoading. Is it a known issue? Is there a way to disable TCP Segment OffLoading in nevada/opensolaris? Are there other things I could try? TIA for any hints hajma --------------------- # scp /var/tmp/testfile.log [email protected]:/tmp [email protected]'s password: testfile.log 100% |*****************************************| 1880 KB 00:00 <--this is immediate ^CKilled by signal 2. <--ctrl-c after 30 minutes #
