IP tunneling in its entirety was re-implemented by the Clearview
project, and that integrated in build 125.
Things are a little easier to debug with the latest solaris kernel
because we could insert dtrace probes or breakpoints in
ip_drop_input and find out why the icmp error is not being sent out..
Indeed, and with the new IP tunneling implementation, one can also run
snoop on the tunnel links, which allows you to see if the ICMP errors
are ever being encapsulated by H1.
Since both the IP datapath refactoring project and Clearview IP
tunneling integrated since build 111, I agree with Sowmini that
debugging an IP or IP tunneling problem would be more fruitful on a more
recent build.
