I understand this and this is the reason of the existing
Solaris behavior.  The question is whether apps actually
expect this, or expect that the connection is reset after
the timeout.  This seems to be a grey area and it seems
to be platform dependent (there are UNIX FAQs which specify
reset is the behavior).  Our question is whether to stick
to the current behavior or switch or have another option to
cover this reset behavior for those apps which want it.
