What are the models of the three laptops? Which is working, which two don't?
Are they using security (WPA-*, WEP)? Are they all broadcasting their SSID?
If you drop to a terminal and do:
sudo iwconfig eth0 essid $NAME;
sudo dhclient eth0;
for the two not-working APs, can you associate?
