I filed a bug for ndiswrapper to fully support WEXT-18 (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1459522&group_id=93482&atid=604450). However, the maintainer is not aware of any area where it is lacking. What is actually needed from ndiswrapper to get it working out of the box with NM >= 0.6?
