Is there some reason NM needs to be built as root?? I built it in my
normal build root and it built just fine, however it still does not control
the wireless network. NM never starts wpa_supplicant.

I am using the latest madwifi driver from subversion and the following
versiona of nm:

(bullwinkle pts3) $ rpm -qa | grep -i networkmanager
NetworkManager-0.7.0-0.cvs20060529.1.fc5
NetworkManager-gnome-0.7.0-0.cvs20060529.1.fc5
NetworkManager-glib-0.7.0-0.cvs20060529.1.fc5
(bullwinkle pts3) $

When the wireless card is in I see the following log entries over and over
again:
Jun 29 21:29:13 bullwinkle netplugd[1692]: No interface name
Jun 29 21:29:13 bullwinkle netplugd[1692]: Callback failed

Are they significant in any way?

Are there any other packages I should be upgrading?

How do I trouble shoot this??

Regards,

Tom
