Hello! I've been successfully using the NetworkManager on Ubuntu Feisty Fawn :-) and just now gave its OpenVPN module a try. After having sorted out some difficulties with the certificates (see <https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-openvpn/+bug/91615>) there is -- so far ;-) -- only one problem remaining: I connect to my university's wlan network and receive the following dns data: #v+ $ cat /etc/resolv.conf # generated by NetworkManager, do not edit! search rus.uni-stuttgart.de nameserver 129.69.1.28 nameserver 141.58.231.9 #v- If I now, however, establish the OpenVPN connection, all the ``search'' and ``nameserver'' lines disappear, so dns is in a non-functioning state. If I re-add those lines to `/etc/resolv.conf', everything is fine again.
