I am on Fedora 8 (*after* upgrading from Fedora 7 (after upgrading from Fedora 6)). I am using NM version 0.7.
Checking the two logs (yours and mine), it seems to me that the beginning is pretty similar. They differ once stage 2 of 5 starts (maybe because of encryption at your end and no encryption at mine?) I have also checked the logs on my second laptop (fresh Fedora 8 installation) and the log is identical to the one that I have posted. How does the network script in init.d affect NM? Running /sbin/service network status on both laptops resulted in the same output (which seems fine to me): Configured devices: lo eth0 wlan0 Currently active devices: lo wifi0 wlan0 Cheers, Firas.
