In ubuntu we don't manage _any_ interface configured in
/etc/network/interfaces. In debian you still need to add a bogus
option to prevent NM from from taking over your auto dhcp interfaces,
e.g.:
auto eth0
iface eth1 inet dhcp
nm-please-dont-touch this
