Even if it is released I don't think it will make it into Hardy since
the testing window will be too short.   But this is my guess, I have
no say in the matter.

Since PPP Manager is close to being completed the core is there so I
/think/ it is intended.

On a side note PPPOE should work in Hardy if you configure it through
System-Administration->Network.   It will then show up in Network
Manager under Dial-up Connections.   I don't have a PPPOE connection
to test it with but looking at the Debian back-end code that is what I
think is intended.
