Ah. That was of course a bad assumption by me, it is a Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graghics Controller (rev 0c) I do *not* see the same problem on Intel Corporation Cantiga Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07) when I checked now, sow it's clearly related to only the above chipset. I run the iwl4965,iwlcore,mac80211,cfg80211 kernel modules. Thanks for the update.
