Ok, here goes: # ls -al /sys/class/net/wlan0/device/ drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 0 Mar 25 08:57 . drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 0 Mar 25 08:55 .. lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Mar 25 08:57 bus -> ../../../../../bus/sdio -r--r--r-- 1 root root 4096 Mar 25 08:57 class -r--r--r-- 1 root root 4096 Mar 25 08:56 device lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Mar 25 08:57 driver -> ../../../../../bus/sdio/drivers/sdio_wlan -r--r--r-- 1 root root 4096 Mar 25 08:57 modalias lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Mar 25 08:57 net:wlan0 -> ../../../../../class/net/wlan0 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Mar 25 08:57 power lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Mar 25 08:56 subsystem -> ../../../../../bus/sdio -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4096 Mar 25 08:55 uevent -r--r--r-- 1 root root 4096 Mar 25 08:57 vendor

So the driver link looks fine but it does not show up in lshal. hald does not add info.linux.driver for mmc_host devices but NM seems to expect it there anyway. Do you think this is an issue in HAL?
