I've installed linux-backports-modules-jaunty and rebooted, but I'm now away 
from
my normal AP.  I'm connected to a wired connection, but not able to
connect to the AP near me.  But, a friend with a Windows Vista install
is also having trouble.  So, maybe not an AP to test with.

BTW -- I also noticed since the Jaunty upgrade that mouse over on the
nm-applet no longer shows status (e.g. "connecting to..") which I
found nice.  Once connected mouse over works to show the current
connection.  Anyone notice that change?


But, trying to connect to this AP looks similar to the problem I had
at home.
