Sorry, I was talking nonsense; I was confusing two WiFi devices I have, each containing PCMCIA Orinoco cards. One is a PCI-to-PCMCIA device, and the other is a USB device. I have the former in the machine at present, so (fortunately) I have no need for orinoco_usb . I did use it in this machine a couple of years ago, and managed to compile orinoco_usb at that time. But I'm out of the country at the moment, and will try again when I get back next week. If that doesn't work I'll call again on your great expertise. -- Timothy Murphy e-mail: gayleard /at/ eircom.net tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland _______________________________________________ NetworkManager-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/networkmanager-list
