Hi guys, so I have a GOBI card here that is not like the others. My HP card looks something like this:
T: Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=02 Cnt=01 Dev#= 4 Spd=480 MxCh= 0 D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=03f0 ProdID=201d Rev= 0.01 S: Manufacturer=HP un2400 Mobile Broadband Module S: Product=HP un2400 Mobile Broadband Module C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=e0 MxPwr=500mA I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 0 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=qcserial I:* If#= 0 Alt= 1 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=qcserial E: Ad=81(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms E: Ad=01(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=4ms Pretty straight forward and normal stuff. Even works fine with my prototype GOBI loader application that uses libusb directly instead of bothering with the kernel driver and the TTY layer. However my other card looks like this: T: Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=02 Cnt=01 Dev#= 8 Spd=480 MxCh= 0 D: Ver= 2.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=xxxx ProdID=xxx Rev= 0.02 S: Manufacturer=Qualcomm Incorporated S: Product=xxxx C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=e0 MxPwr=500mA I:* If#= 1 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=(none) E: Ad=81(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms E: Ad=01(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=4ms I removed that VID and PID on purpose since I have no clue if it is a prototype or not. So please don't ask me about it. If I try to talk on the endpoints, it does work somehow. Meaning I do get responses and they look similar, but they are more like errors. And I don't have a Windows driver for it to double check and run a trace. Does anybody has seen such a card before?
