I did test the patch out and concluded that it worked for the modems I tested; upon receiving an error attempting to send via text mode the code correctly fell back to PDU mode. So with that test I decided to push MM 0.5.2. With the new log I see two errors that are interesting, the first is the failure to parse the CMGL response and the second is the unknown error. Any chance I can get you to grab a modem-manager --debug log with latest MM 0.5.x for me?
