hi:

Recently I meet an odd problem about my LTE-Datacard.

During the time I analysed the problem, I discovered some relation between
NetworkManager and my device's problem.

So I send the mail to check whether the guess is right.

My LTE-DataCard is mult-port device which has both modem port and network port.

And I try to use the network port to conncet the internet.

When the device changed to "connected" status, I click my divice name in list
of NM to set device.

It can not get the IP info and NM icon sparked over and over again.

Firstly ,I analysed the log of NM. It displayed that NM sent DHCP request and
there was no respond.

Secondly, I used the "tcpdump" to catch the data package, further I found the
there was no respond for "dhcp discover" .

I try to find some idea by searching google, but there are nothing valid.

Odd thing happened, I repeated the process with disabled the NetworkManager and
used terminal to start dhcp process by "dhcpclient eht1"(eht1 is my device
network port name in Linux).

This time my device can get Ip and everything are ok in Ifconfig cmd.

Above mentioned was the problem I met.

Expect your fallback and best wishes.
