Proposed solution is integrating above two and allow users to create profiles
for each connection where they can store the proxy settings for each connection
in those profiles. When a connection is available , auto connect to the
connection with the proxy settings of it.
Current Network Manager in the desktop environment provides a list of available
connections and users can select a network to connect. Also it has Network
Connections options where they can edit the network connection. It also
facilitate users to mention the proxy settings there itself. But there is no
direct relationship between those two.
The first phase of the solution is add the profile creating facility to the
Network Settings interface.. Users can create profiles for each connection with
the connection details.
Second phase is allowing users to store the proxy settings for each profile.
In the third phase the connecting to selected profile will be implemented.
What is the suggestions, corrections or references related to this proposed
solution ?
Thanks & Regards,
