I guess it will. But ipv6.method == auto means also that you will not get ipv6.dhcp-hostname saved: this is a bug (method == auto should save it too). bugzilla #775622 would address this. There should be a trick that could be used as work around anyway... if you save your FQDN ipv6 hostname in ipv4.dhcp-hostname too, ifcfg-rh plugin will save and read it also if ipv6.method == auto. Please, note that this is a side effect and not a wanted feature, but till #775622 isn't in place should be a viable WA.
