You can release it as an alpha right now. Releasing it as a beta still
requires a minimum of three +1 (and positive majority overall). I haven't
had a chance to sleep this week, let alone test it --- sorry. It seemed
fine to me just prior to your tag when I committed the build stuff, but
that wasn't much of a test, and I am still worried that the unfinished
build bits are causing different parts of the server to be compiled
with incompatible flags on some platforms.
Overall, I have no objection to beta status right now, but can't +1 it
myself yet.
