I've had a few nasty headaches caused by mod_mime_magic, and would
rather it stayed off of the "most" list. Most recently, it was causing
seg faults on daedalus that were very hard to debug.
But even with that fixed, you wouldn't believe all the extra syscalls we
do for an autoindex of a directory containing .gz files. A _lot_ of CPU
cycles are dying needlessly, just so we can choose which icon to put in
front of the file name. On daedalus, I'd rather give those cycles to
cvs, until subversion comes along. :-)
I think it would be better if the admin had to explicitly include
mod_mime_magic.
