Not exactly on topic, but I thought it might be of interest.

Also, I'll attempt to salvage the OTness by saying that one of the ideas
floating around is to have IMAP/POP/SMTP proxies doing the hashcash, and
I'm contemplating writing them as Apache 2 modules...
