I'm involved in it in jakarta-tomcat-connector, a toimcat subproject,
along with good boys like Jean-Frederic Clere and Costin Manolache.
It's working fine on Apache 2.0
What's datasource pools ?
mod_jk is supporting load-balancing and fault-tolerance, ie let you
attach on Apache Web-Server to many Tomcat Servlet Engine...
