So minus the EXE footprint ( Only 53k ) the runtime footprint ( with
windows minimized as would normally be the case?, or no? which
one gave you this numbers ) is only 1100k. That's about the best
you can hope for I guess.
As far as it doing 'nothing'... It IS a full-featured TASK bar APP
using straight WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN Non-MFC or ATL API
calls and it WILL start/stop Apache... I simply removed my path
and IP address information from the Start/Stop buttons and
added the 'Your launch command goes here' comments. Since
there are are any number of ways to launch a Service the
choice is yours.
If you are still aiming for the smallest executable and/or runtime
footprint I don't think it gets much better than this small APP.
Like I said... use it or not... doesn't matter. It's pretty much
just FYI.
