Oh well, so much for that idea. =-) I knew it was possible to use other
protocol modules, because it's obviously been done already... I thought I
remembered that the refactoring work made it possible to build without
http, but I was wrong. Oh well. At least you can preempt HTTP with your
alternate protocol.
