[newbie] Checking Free Space in Linux

How can I check my avaliable free disk space in Linux and in KDE? Thanks.

PS With the problem I was having with the video before, all you have to do is
install the newest X11 update, version 3.3.3.1. Mandrake comes with 3.3.2, I
believe. Anyway, that fixed the problem. I'm running KDE at 1024x768 with
100mhz refresh rate and it looks great.
