It sounds like you didn't upgrade the kernel-source package. Grab it
and install that and you should be all set!

No problem.
I'd like to apologize to people who've felt I've been a bit short /
caustic with my replies over the last couple of days. The stressful
situation that led to it has since been resolved and I should be back to
my normal, happy, helpful self now.
