To disable NUMlock edit the : /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit file.
Find the section with:
�for tty in /dev/tty[1-9]*; do
�setleds -D +num < $tty
�done
Edit the second line eith the right stuff ( -num).
THis will do the job
